Spring Release & Open House – April 20

Join us on Saturday April 20 for our Annual Spring Release and Open House. From 11 am to 6 pm, we will have new vintage wine releases available for tasting and sale, food samples, winery tours and barrel tasting.

We will also have Nick Riesche of Nick’s Barbecue sauce from Brunswick on hand for a sampling. Nick has perfected an old family recipe to make a great sauce that tastes great with all meats! He has original, spicy and a new Carolina-style sauce that you’ll want to be sure to try. He’ll have jars for sale too.

Come have a bottle of wine or a wine slushie and help us celebrate the arrival of Spring at Baltimore Bend Vineyard!

April Wine of the Month

For April, we decided to make our wine of the month Sun Shadow Returns in honor of the solar eclipse we witnessed on April 8. This wine was first introduced in 2017 for the total solar eclipse we experienced that year. By popular demand, we brought the wine back! This is a semi-sweet white wine made from the Valvin muscat grapes and blended with Chardonel. Come in this month and receive 5% off all individual bottles and 15% off case sales ( 12 or more bottles).

New Wines Available

In November we have released a couple of new wines that you definitely want to drop in to taste. The first is a semi-dry rose made from Norton and Chambourcin. It is named Charmed, and has a fun back story.

XX, was released on Nov. 10 as a limited edition wine in celebration of our 20th anniversary in the wine business. This is also a rose, but in the semi-sweet category. It is made from the Valvin muscat, Catawba and Concord grape varieties. This wine will not stay in the line up long, so be sure to come get yours before they are sold out!

Kris Kringle still available for sale

On Nov. 10, we released this year’s Kris Kringle vintage. This is a light red wine made from Vignoles and Norton with added cinnamon. It is great served chilled or room temperature. But it is even more tasty served up warm with mulling spices! Come taste this year’s vintage and see the new commemorative label created by Mary Scanlin.
