On April 1, 2015, we went to a pay to taste arrangement at the tasting room. After much internal discussion and research throughout the wine industry, we began a new tasting policy at the winery. Wine tastings are offered to customers at a price of $5 for 8 wine samples. We also will be offering $1 per taste if guests would prefer fewer than 8 wines. The limit on wine samples will be 8 which we believe allows our guests to try enough of our wines to get a feel for the wine style and taste, while also being responsible with alcoholic beverages. Customers are welcome to split their tastes with another individual too. We appreciate your support, and your patronage, and hope to see you at the winery soon!
We offer a number of discounts at the winery when purchasing wine, including:
- 4 bottle BBV reuseable bag – 5 percent off purchase
- 6 bottles – 5 percent off purchase
- 12 or more bottles – 10 percent off purchase
- Wine of the month discounts – 5 percent off individual bottles of the wine of the month; 15 percent off full cases of wine of the month.
- Veteran’s Discount – 10 percent
Hours of Operation
We are open Monday to Saturday 11 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 1 pm to 6 pm. These Summer hours are in effect until Dec. 31, 2017. We are closed on these major holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
Spring Release & Barrel Tasting – April 22, 2017
It kinda feels like Spring right now, which got us to talking about our Spring Release. We have set Saturday April 22 as our Annual Spring Release and Barrel tasting. Come out between 11 am and 6 pm for a day of new wines, sampling barreled wines, food and fun! We will be releasing our season Blackberry Stroll and releasing our new 2016 vintage of Jubilee our apple wine. Stay tuned for a full listing of wines we will be releasing during the event. Painting @ The Bend – April 27, 2017
We will be painting at Baltimore Bend on Thursday, April 27. We have moved our paintings to the 4th Thursday, every other month. Price is $40 per person and it gets you the canvas, paints, all the step by step instruction you need, plus light food. Drinks – beer, wine, sodas – are extra. Check in starts at 6 pm. Painting begins at 6:30 pm. Evening is usually wrapped up by 8:30 or 9 pm.

We are already thinking about Wine Strolls for the year! And the first one is in March, so be sure to mark your calendar. These are great events to get out into small and large communities to sample Missouri wines and local businesses. We’ll be adding to this list as we commit to dates.

We are in the process of finalizing our Summer Music Line Up, but here are a few confirmed bands, dates and times. These outdoor music events are free unless otherwise posted or listed. Be sure to mark your calendars for some of these fun live music events.
June 10, 12 to 5 pm – The Aker’s. Chris and Lloyann Akers play a variety of your favorites from the 60s all the way to present day music, and all genres.
June 24, 2 to 5 pm - David Knopf, acoustic guitarist and solo song-writer is back at the winery to entertain you!
July 8, 2 to 5 pm – The Aker’s duo.
July 22, 2 to 5 pm – David Knopf soloist.
Sept. 2, 2 to 5 pm – The Aker’s duo.

2017 Total Solar Eclipse Party – Aug. 21
Baltimore Bend Vineyard is in the direct path of the solar eclipse that is to occur on Monday, Aug. 21. Join us to watch this historic event! We plan to have events throughout the weekend leading up to the big event, and stay around to watch the sun go in and out of totality here at BBV!
